I was sorry to see Chris Taylor go and have tried to follow his progress (or lack of!) at Yorkshire. He has played a few games for them with limited success however looking at Yorkshires batting line up it was always going to be tough to get a regular spot.
As for a return to Derbyshire I dont think that would be on the cards when we have just successfully recruited Park, now a regular with Sadler and Telo trying for 1st team places also young players with lots of potential in Redfern, Borrington and now Chesney Hughes.
A move to Leicester or Glamorgan may be a better option!!!
I am sure most Derbyshire supporters would wish him well if he chooses to move.
Any news about Gary Ballance.....jimmyb16...I am sure we would be happy to have him back

Ballance has signed a 3 year deal and is currently playing 2nds.

Just thought Taylor would be a good signing if we lost a couple of batters at the end of this season through kolpack rulings or retirement etc. If you look at his Derbys stats they are probably some of the best there has been for a while (for English players), especially his 1 day stats.

To be honest my mate said he spoke with a lot of passion about Derbyshire, I believe he would be a good signing for Derbys, especially if he can reproduce the form he had last time. Maybe depends on who has to leave or who will leave Derbys at the end of this season.

A quality player who shouldnt be playing 2nd team cricket for anyone. Should he come back to Derby?, probably not as too much happened (getting shafted by Katich and co) but he should be playing for someone as he is a talented player.

Should'nt Jamie Pipe be in here, great player, now thankfully playing for Chesterfield CC, his knock at Queen's Park against Worcestershire was sublime

Certainly Buck and Waggy of the recent departures require mention here.  Peterson too, if he is unable to play enough SA 1 day games before the next English season begins.
