|Went to Trent Bridge yesterday to see Notts v Durham, as I had got some free tickets and went with a mate who is a Notts fan.
Never been before, all I can say is what a cracking place to watch County Championship cricket.
Started off watching from the new stand on, excellent view side on and the acoustics where to die for, you could hear everything from the ball hitting the bat right in the middle to every nick, (I haven't clue why Stoneman wasn't out for 48 as the umpire was the only who didn't hear the nick).
At lunch you are given a ticket if you leave the ground, so it was around to the Trent Bridge Tavern.
After lunch it was the upper seating of the Ratcliffe Road Stand, slightly unnerving. Great views over Nottinghamshire and once again a superb view of the action.
The Notts catching was shocking.
Couldn't fault Trent Bridge from a neutral point of view for CC games, from the pleasant gateman to the views etc. I can see why Trent Bridge is considered one of the favourite Test grounds.
FINALLY, I WANT TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR TO SEE US PLAY THERE.
